RAISE YOUR VOICE - Submit Your Work
Cleveland-area students in grades 9-12 are invited to submit their creative writing (fiction, poetry, or creative nonfiction) for presentation at the “Raise Your Voice” Conference, a free event for students to be held at the South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

4:30 p.m. - Book signing with Sarah Kay and Clint Smith, sponsored by Macs Backs Books
5:30 p.m. - Performance by Sarah Kay and Clint Smith
7 p.m. - Student Readers, introduced by Sarah Kay
Students: Use the form below to submit your work for consideration. All submissions must be received by March 15, 2019. Please note that all student presenters will be introduced internationally renowned poet Sarah Kay. Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Questions may be directed to email@example.com.

Creative works in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction are now being accepted. Submissions should be 2-6 pages long in total (suitable for a 10-minute reading) and may be comprised of a single prose piece, a single long poem, or a collection of shorter poems or prose pieces.

My signature is a statement that all of the works that I am submitting are my own and all of the works that I am submitting are written in my own words, using my own ideas.
Author's and Publisher's Rights
My signature is a statement that my submission has not been published before in any book, periodical, or online (social media is ok). If this changes during the submission period, I will notify Raise Your Voice to have my writing removed from consideration. If chosen for publication by Raise Your Voice, I keep the right to submit the same work elsewhere if I choose.
Parent/Guardian Consent and Contact
I give permission to my child to submit writing to Raise Your Voice for consideration. If chosen, I give permission for my child's work to be published by Raise Your Voice.
