Babysitting Classes: Designed for students ages 11 and older, this online training provides the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for infants and children up to the age of 10, as well as to manage a babysitting business. All students will receive a babysitting certification which does not expire. Students may elect to take the CPR written exam to complete the CPR certification. Students must successfully score an 80% on the exam to obtain the CPR certification. CPR certification is valid for 2 years. Cost: $80
CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer: Certification for job-related emergency response for professional rescuers and health care professionals including two-person CPR, resuscitation mask and bag-valve mask use. Certification is valid for two years from the last date of class. A portion of this class is online. Cost: $90
Lifeguarding Class: The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. All participants must be 15 years of age on or before the last day of class. A portion of this class is online. Certification is valid for 2 years and includes Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid. Cost: $200
Lifeguarding Review: This course reviews the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of the course, individuals will be recertified in Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/AED. Certification is valid for two years from the last day of class. A portion of this class is online. Cost: $100
Water Safety Instructor Course: Training for Instructor candidates to organize and conduct American Red Cross courses in water safety including Learn to Swim, Parent & Child Aquatics, Basic Water Rescue, and Water Safety Presentations. Participants must be 16 years of age on or before the final scheduled class. The participants must be able to perform the Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Elementary Backstroke, Breaststroke, Sidestroke and Butterfly at Level 4 standards. Participants must also be able to float on their back for 1 minute and tread water for 1 minute. A portion of this class is online. Cost: $200
