Advanced Cake Decorating
Take your buttercream cake decorating to the next level. You will use Royal icing to create more complex flowers like roses, violets, pansies, and lillies. Basket weave and advanced borders will be used to complete these beautiful designs. Students in this camp must take Cake Decorating 101 previously. All students will receive a set of professional cake decorating tools to use throughout the camp and to take home for future use.
Carol Kennedy has been teaching the Wilton Method of cake decorating for over 20 years totaling over 2000 students at present. This has earned her the honor of being on the Wilton Hall of Fame Wall. Cake decorating started as a hobby but has become a very rewarding fun career. She is presently teaching classes at Michael’s Craft Store and is a member of The International Cake Exploration Society (ICES) for over 15 years.
