The faculty do more than provide encouragement and set high expectations for HB students; they've invented academic designs that enable students to challenge themselves to excel, explore and discover. Mary Amjad

Mary has come to HB from MedWorks in Shaker Heights. MedWorks is a non–profit organization that provides free healthcare clinics to the un- and under-insured. Through its successful collaborations with hospitals, corporate sponsors, and medical and non-medical volunteers MedWorks provides care for its patients and serves as an access point for those individuals to the medical community. At MedWorks Mary served as the Director of Development and Marketing. Prior to her time at MedWorks, she served as the Director of Summer Programs at Beaumont School in Cleveland Heights. Previously she had worked in the admission field at Laurel School, John Carroll University and Saint Louis University.
Mary has 3 daughters who attend Hathaway Brown: Emily ’15, Maggie ’18 and Grace ’19. She is married to Bob Amjad. Mary is an active participant with the HBPA, a member of the Junior League of Cleveland and a volunteer for MedWorks.
Mary is a graduate of Beaumont School and Saint Louis University (BS-Psychology).
