M.Ed., Oberlin College
Morgan grew up in Chagrin Falls and graduated from Chagrin Falls High School. She has several connections to Hathaway Brown, including having conducted her Senior Project in Nancy Gladstone's fifth grade history classroom during her senior year of high school. Morgan also spent two summers teaching math in the Aspire program at Hathaway Brown during her undergraduate career. These teaching experiences, as well as spending a semester teaching at KIPP North Philadelphia, reinforced her love of working with students and her passion for education. Morgan realized she wanted to teach math after taking high school Calculus. Her teacher, Wade Tolson, proved to her that math is a fascinating topic found in the world around us. His never-ending patience, belief that every student could find success in his classroom, and ability to infuse joy, passion, and humor into a rigorous classroom environment continue to inspire Morgan's teaching.
