Hathaway Brown partners with OAIS, which operates its own certified SGO. This partnership allows you to support our students while receiving tax credit eligibility. It's a win-win situation — reduce your tax liability while supporting student scholarships.

For Individual Donors:

1. Visit the Ohio Association of Independent Schools website
2. Complete payment with your credit card
3. Receive your tax acknowledgement from OAIS for your Ohio tax return

For Business Owners:

• You can donate either personally or through your pass-through entity
• Contact your tax professional to determine the best approach for your situation
• Follow the same donation process through OAIS

Business Owners: Pass-Through Entity Option

If you own a business structured as a pass-through entity, you have an additional way to support Hathaway Brown students:

• Your business can donate to OAIS SGO

• The tax credit passes through to you personally based on your ownership percentage

• You claim the credit on your individual Ohio tax return

• The same limits apply: $750 per individual or $1,500 for joint filers

Your gift to the OAIS SGO receives Fund for Hathaway Brown credit and counts towards giving recognition levels.
