Blazer Covenant

Athletic competition is an integral part of the Hathaway Brown community and the learning experience for girls. Therefore, the goals of our teachers and coaches are the same: to develop the mind, body, and spirit of each girl, each day. HB's community, parents, coaches, and student-athletes are encouraged to put character first, both on and off the field, always representing the best of yourself and Hathaway Brown and to honor the rules and regulations as set forth in the student handbook.

Along with strong character, the community, parents, coaches, and student-athletes will strive to exemplify sportsmanship, excellence, teamwork and perseverance, following the motto, “Non scholae sed vitae discimus,” we learn not for school but for life.
