Dear Hathaway Brown Community,

We continue to work on creating a full array of experiential programming for students (and parents!) of all ages and we're pleased today to make available a series of grade-level specific workshops exclusive to HB families.

These programs are designed to provide your daughter with engaging activities to sharpen her academic skills. Taught by HB faculty and free of charge to HB families, these workshops will reinforce skills and build confidence. Workshops will cover math and reading and will begin in late June. All sessions will be recorded and will be available to all students throughout the summer.

Check out our brand new summer programs website for details about our academic course offerings for Middle and Upper School students, with pricing that has now been discounted for HB families.

We're pleased also to offer the following:
  • Composing for Film and Video Games - covering the unique art, craft, and technology involved in writing music for film and video games. Co-ed, Grades 8-12.

  • Lemons to Lemonade - this summer club, based on themes highlighted in HB's Fellowships in Applied Studies, is designed for a summer when many plans changed abruptly — and some lemonade might help. Throughout, pod participants get to know each other, play games & laugh. Girls, Grades 5-8. Sign up with a friend outside of HB and receive a discount on enrollment!

  • Hathaway Brown Theatre Institute Performing Arts and Improvisation HBTI helps young people improve their performing arts skills through a challenging curriculum of drama, dance, and vocals. The goal of improvisation is to free musicians from fear of playing their own ideas, gaining confidence in their own voices, and gaining functional experience. Co-ed, Grades 4-6 and 7-12.

And coming soon, with July and August program dates available:
  • Esports
  • Innovative Fellowships in Applied Studies Offerings
  • Sports and Adventure Programs
  • Workshops for Parents
  • Opportunities for Alumnae Engagement
  • Special Speaker Events
  • Learn How to Knit and Other Fun Life Skills
  • and Much More!
As new programs are introduced, we'll share the details on our social media channels and in email outreach. Unless otherwise noted, HB summer programs will be available to the broader community so that others may experience the magic of HB for themselves. Please help us spread the word and encourage your friends and family members to participate. Our digital platforms make these programs accessible to all!
