Hathaway Brown girls tennis wins 2015 OTCA Division II state championship

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio — Hathaway Brown's girls tennis team won the 2015 Ohio Tennis Coaches Association Division II team championship on Sunday at Reynoldsburg High School.

The Blazers defeated Gahanna Columbus Academy, 3-0, in the semifinals and Cincinnati Indian Hill, 3-0, in the finals.

Hathaway Brown finished the 2015 season with a 21-0 record against a schedule that featured 11 teams ranked in the top 10 of either Division I or Division II.

On Saturday, Hathaway Brown's Lauren Gillinov won her second straight Division II singles state championship. Her teammates, Catherine Areklett and Ally Persky, finished second in the Division II doubles tournament.

Dublin Jerome won the Division I team championship.
