With students coming from over 70 zip codes, HB makes getting to school easier with expanded bus transportation options.
Shared Bus Routes with Partner Schools
Hathaway Brown School, University School, Laurel School offer fee based transportation for families to and from limited locations in the area. This cooperative program is called the Independent Schools Transportation Collaborative (ISTC).
The ISTC aims to provide transportation to and from local districts that do not provide transportation to independent schools, though our routes are limited.
Routes for the 2026-2027 school year will be finalized in the Summer of 2026.
Public Transportation
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s Green Line Rapid stops at Shaker Boulevard and Courtland Boulevard, a two-block walk from Hathaway Brown School.

Six public school districts transport students who reside in their district to and from HB free of charge:
