GROW (Girls Reaching Others Worldwide) is a student-run Middle and Upper School foundation committed to raising funds, supporting service projects, and awarding grants to nonprofits that address the needs of children—especially girls—focusing on education, hunger, and homelessness.
Middle School
The Middle School chapter provides funding for organizations in Greater Cleveland to support educational and social-emotional programming. Grants are awarded to local organizations that address real community needs to help people get back on their feet. The hope is that GROW funding creates a ripple effect of change within disadvantaged communities.
GROW is a group of kind and empowered girls who are dedicated to improving the lives of other Cleveland-area residents, especially adolescent girls.
Upper School
GROW fosters passion for philanthropy in the Hathaway Brown Upper School community. With a strong interest to empower women and girls, GROW strives to make the greatest impact in under-resourced communities through grant distribution and microfinance loans.
