Hathaway Brown offers Middle School Swimming and Upper School Swimming & Diving—programs marked by tradition, achievement, and exceptional coaching.
The Upper School team is one of Ohio’s most accomplished, earning three consecutive OHSAA State Championships (2023–2025) and five straight State Runner-Up titles before that. Athletes train in the on-campus Carol & John Butler Aquatic Center, a premier facility built for elite performance.
HB swimmers and divers also excel at the collegiate level, continuing a legacy defined by excellence, character, and sisterhood.
Swimming is deeply integrated into HB’s Learn for Life culture, with aquatic instruction beginning in Primary School to build confidence, safety, and skill long before competitive participation.
