Aspire seeks to equip remarkable young educators with the tools necessary to bring new ideas to classrooms and communities. Through Aspire, teachers learn the components of a high-quality education and become competent educators and advocates for education.
Aspire teachers are high school, college, graduate students, and early-career teachers who gain an introduction to teaching and educational leadership. In six weeks, educators of all experience levels practice collaboration, innovation, and creativity in the classroom.
Aspire teachers hone their skills by:
- serving as the lead teacher in the classroom,
- developing creative curriculum
- and practicing classroom management, differentiated instruction, and student assessment
Aspire is rooted in what is most exceptional about Hathaway Brown School. Identifying young women with extraordinary potential, providing deep learning experiences that expand their horizons, and engaging outstanding educators with the resources to succeed reflect the institution's focus on excellence in girls' education.
