Martine Vilas Conway 1949 established this chair in 2008 to support the Director of the Aspire Program. Aspire is a tuition-free academic and leadership program that brings together adolescent girls who attend under-resourced schools in Greater Cleveland and teachers who have tremendous potential in the field of education. This chair enables Aspire to make a difference in the lives of middle school girls. Aspire Director Ali Black is the current recipient.
