Upper School (9-12)
Empowered GIrls
Upper School girls are uniquely prepared for the world beyond HB halls because they are actively engaged in the learning process with teachers who empower them to develop their own ideas and to express them passionately and persuasively.
At the same time, they are immersed in signature programming that reimagines the traditional academic architecture. HB girls have the freedom to explore an array of opportunities in a supportive and challenging environment.
Upper School girls are also involved outside of the classroom — on stage, on a playing field, at a debate tournament, working in a graduate-level research lab or volunteering at a women's shelter.
To help navigate the myriad choices — academic and co-curricular — each student has a faculty mentor who works with her throughout her four years in Upper School.
