HB Magazine is Named Best Trade Publication in Ohio

At a virtual ceremony, the Press Club of Cleveland awarded HB Magazine three 2020 All Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards, including a top honor of Best Trade Publication. 

The fall/winter 2019 issue won first place in the "Covers: Trade & Professional Publications." The Building the Future cover was designed by the Visuals and Publications Manager D.J. Reichel. 

"I Have an IDEA," the cover story for the spring/summer issue won second place in the "Trade Publications Features: General" category. The story was written by the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications Kendra Davis.

The Press Club of Cleveland also named HB Magazine the Best Trade Publication in Ohio! Judges noted that the magazine, compiled by Chief Marketing & Communication Officer Kathleen Osborne, Kendra Davis, and D.J. Reichel, has a "very strong design, is well edited and on target for readership." 

HB Magazine also received the Best Trade Publication in Ohio award in 2014 and 2018. 

The Press Club of Cleveland promotes excellence in journalism, educates future journalists, maintains the rich history of journalism in Cleveland, and supports the important role of journalism in democracy.
