The Class of 2034 Celebrates Notable Women

The Class of 2034 Celebrates Notable Women

Hathaway Brown proudly celebrated this year’s Notable Women reception—a cherished fourth-grade tradition that brings history to life through research, storytelling, and performance.

Over several weeks, students dove into the lives of groundbreaking women from across time and around the globe. Through in-depth research and thoughtful reflection, each girl selected a notable figure whose legacy spoke to her. The project culminated in an unforgettable evening where students stepped into character—dressed in costume and speaking in the first person—to share the stories of these remarkable individuals.

More than just a presentation, Notable Women is a celebration of female leadership and the enduring power of storytelling. It’s a shining example of the HB mission in action: empowering girls to think critically, act with purpose, and use their voices with confidence.

We applaud our fourth-grade students for their creativity, courage, and commitment, and we honor the legacies of the women who continue to inspire future generations of leaders right here at Hathaway Brown.
