Summary:
In concert with the Director of Alumnae Engagement, the Alumnae Engagement Coordinator will provide the logistics and daily support for the comprehensive engagement program for all Hathaway Brown alumnae. The program includes providing meaningful opportunities for voluntarism, service, personal and professional development, and events that will enhance loyalty, dedication and philanthropic support of the school. The Alumnae Engagement Coordinator works closely with the entire advancement team and is responsible for organizing and coordinating all alumnae events and creating meaningful opportunities to connect alumnae to the school and to each other.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Executes the vision of HB's Alumnae office by organizing and coordinating alumnae functions with special responsibility for the following: Alumnae Weekend, local and regional events, alumnae publications, recognition and awards, alumnae and/or student relations, and other special events and services.

Plans and executes activities that support connections between the student experience and the alumnae experience such as mentoring, volunteering, and serving as advisors to the Fellowships in Applied Studies.

Performs necessary administrative functions such as reports, correspondence, program budget oversight and contractual arrangements, as necessary.

Promotes and fosters effective alumnae relations through continuing written communication and personal contact with constituent groups along side the Director of Alumnae Relations.

Provides staff assistance to Alumnae Association committees and other alumnae groups.

Plans, coordinates and schedules all logistical details and makes necessary arrangements for programs and/or services.

Creates monthly Alumnae digital newsletter.

Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills; written, oral and digital.
- Confidentiality, integrity, discretion and attention to detail is imperative.
- Ability to plan, implement and manage multiple projects.
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, and preferred experience in using Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/ NXT and FinalSite.
- Excellent social media marketing skills and experience creating marketing materials to promote Alumnae events.
- Experience with event planning and execution.
- Volunteer management experience.
- Vendor contract management.
- Strong appreciation for Hathaway Brown School, its mission and values.
- Some nights and weekends will be required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required and/or minimum of two to three years in alumni relations and/or development and or marketing/ communication or equivalent experience in related area is required.
