Director of Aquatics
Non-Exempt, Regular Part-time
Part time hours available: 6:00a - 4:30p; different shift hours available
Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring patron safety while the pool is in operation. He/ she will help enforce safe swimming practices and assist in preventing injury.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to swim 500 yards.
Ability to make responsible decisions and act quickly in emergency situations.
Recognize and respond effectively to emergency situations.
Enforce all aquatics policies, rules and regulations.
Inspect the facility on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
Complete records and reports.
Attend monthly in-service training.
Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and/or Experience:
Must Possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
High-level of familiarity and competence across cultures and multiple perspectives
Superb communication skills
