HB's iPhone/iPad App

The HB app allows iPhone and iPad users to easily access our web materials.  With icons specific to our site, you'll be able to see private announcements, calendars, athletic events, news, directory lookups and more.

To download the app from the Apple iTunes store, open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, or open iTunes and visit the App Store.  Search for Hathaway Brown. Choose the appropriate app for either the iPhone or the iPad.  Download and install the app.

The mobile site: www.hb.edu/mobile, is a collection of web pages scaled specifically for use on a mobile device.

The app is a customized product which makes possible offline viewing of information, the availability of private, personalized announcements, and the ability to stay logged in to view these announcements and the parent directory.  The app also offers tabbed display of athletics information and school calendars and icons with grouped information, whereas the mobile site allows only a list of links to our mobile web pages.

No, the app is only for Apple® devices.  Because a large percentage of smartphones are iPhones and because our Middle Schoolers all use iPads in the one-to-one program and our Primary School students use iPads regularly, the choice of an iOS app made the most sense.
