Hathaway Brown School faculty hail from all parts of the United States and around the world. The faculty do more than provide encouragement and set high expectations for HB students; they've invented academic designs that enable students to challenge themselves to excel, explore and discover. The Teacher's College of Columbia University recognized Hathaway Brown School for its transformative educational leadership.

M.A., Kent State University
Before coming to Hathaway Brown, Bill taught math at Archbishop Hoban High School, Akron Alternative Academy and Kent State University. He was the creator and facilitator of a Praxis II Workshop at Bowling Green University and Kent State University, which prepared future math teachers to pass the math subject licensure test for the state of Ohio. He has been teaching since 2003 and is a member of the Ohio Council for Teachers of Mathematics. In 2012, he received his M.A. in Mathematics for Secondary Teachers at Kent State University. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, martial arts and playing tennis. Bill and his wife, Donna, live in Kent with their 2 cats, Ozzie and Harriet.
