UPPER SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS Basketball - Please join us in congratulating the 2017 OHSAA Division II District and Regional Champions! The varsity basketball team has had a tremendous post season thus far and has earned a spot in the state final four! The team plays Miami Trace High School on Thursday, March 16th for a chance to make the state championship game. The game will be played at the Jerome Schottenstein Center @ The Ohio State University at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. We wish the team the best of luck in the final stages of the OHSAA Division II State Tournament. Tickets ($8 each) for the game can be purchased at HB in the athletic offices tomorrow, Wednesday, March 15 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Swimming & Diving- The varsity swim team completed their season at the OHSAA Division II State Meet in late February placing 4th in the state for the second consecutive year! 17 swimmers advanced from sectionals to districts and 8 swimmers advanced from districts to states. Maggie Cha '17 was the district champion in the 100 free and Jamie Doak '19 took 5th place overall at the district diving competition. The Blazers earned a number of podium spots at the state meet as well. Congratulations to the entire swimming and diving program on another successful season! - 100 Free (M. Cha '17) - 6th place
- 200 Freestyle Relay (N. Bruckner '17, M. Cha '17, M. Perry '20, H. Sun '20) - State Runner Up
- 100 Back (M. Paine '17) - 7th place
- 400 Freestyle Relay (N. Bruckner '17, M. Paine '17, M. Miluk '18, M. Perry '20) - 7th place
EXTRAS - Please join us in congratulating Head Tennis Coach Greg Aten who was named Coach of the Year for Ohio and the Mideast Section!
- The Hathaway Brown figure skating team competed at the Ohio High School Figure Skating Competition in February and had great success with several top finishes in a number of events. For a full list of results please click here. Great job!

The middle school swim team finished their season at the Independent Private School League Championship meet at Hawken Upper School. The team placed 3rd overall and a number of the swimmers dropped time in their races and even achieved personal bests! The varsity swim team looks forward to adding the eighth grade class to their roster next season.
Middle School Spring sports are now underway with weekly preseason practices leading up to spring break and will be in full swing starting Monday, April 3, 2017.
