Imagine a Day at Aspire…

You
arrive at HB via bus and are greeted enthusiastically by your
teachers and friends as you enter Hathaway Brown School, where
Aspire is headquartered.

| 8:55: |
After
announcements during Morning Meeting, you share a poem you
have written. Your teacher asks for a copy, and the poem is
printed in the Aspire newspaper later that week.
|
| 9:00: |
You
spend the morning in small, interesting classes, solving math
problems, experimenting in science, and working on a short
story. In social studies, you begin a unit on Turkey by baking
pita bread with your classmates.

| 12:15: |
You
meet your friends for lunch and ask your teacher what she
thinks about the Aspire cheer you have created with them.
|
| 12:45: |
You
head off to a mini-class on friendship bracelets, which is
being taught by another Aspire student.
|
| 1:30: |
During
activity period today you play basketball in the gym, and
later this week you will go to a watercolor class and a
session in outdoor games.
|
| 2:15: |
In
afternoon workshops, you continue working on the Aspire newspaper.
You have also chosen the dance workshop and are choreographing
a performance piece for the talent show.

Teachers
send you off with the famous Aspire handshake.
